walnut/steel

About a month ago I started making some tables for Harvey's barbecue in Mt. Joy, PA. Harvey has been a great client to work with and I can't wait to see his face when he sees these tables I'm making him!

There are going to be three basic style tables in different areas of the restaurant, one area will have reclaimed wood tables, one will have all live edge tables and the other will have some beautiful mahogany and maple tables.

On one of the tables I wanted to try something new for filling in warm holes in a walnut slab. I went to a local machine shop and got some steel shavings off their cnc machine. I wasn't sure how it would turn out but I'm really glad it turned out great.

Here are some pictures!
